Default "Chubby Senorita"

I've been lurking around for a while checking out the buggy builds and decided to start my own variation of "Fat Girl". Started off with the Hobby grade Arc welder....

Just for mock-up of course, I then disassembled it and MIG'd it all back together

Shortly after I didn't care for the low stance of the front shock hoops so I cut it up and made them bigger, as well as added a light bar/roof rack to bring the over all height up to comp standards

Still undecided on paint right now, original thought was a bit of a desert/military theme with Almond and OD green panels

Then I molested a JK body and decided it needed a one piece fiberglass look

And a quick shot of the GCM transfer case.....this is where I'm at now, just waiting for my GD-600 Trans to come in so I can start making brackets for it to mount up in the rear

Trying to figure out the best possible location for the trans, with the GCM there isn't much room to off-set your drive shafts, so it's back to the drawing board. I'm going to try to flip the t-case to the drivers side and see if I can get the clearance I need, but I have a feeling the trans will be relocated elsewhere.

Thanks! I'm hoping it will be able to take what I throw at it.

The light bars were never in the plan to begin with, until I stopped and realized that the cab area was less than 5 inches in total height, so I threw those on to cover the rules

Making progress, made some tabs for the front shocks, and a T-Bar style rear suspension mount, its crappy right now, won't have access to a MIG til after Christmas so temp Arc welds for now to see how everything lines up. Wheelbase came out to 13 1/4", which is about where I wanted it, possibly going to change out the shocks, using the stock Crawler Kings for now, but still has 1.75" inches of travel.
