Just curious as to what you guys think is (perfect) wheelbase for a 2.2 scale crawler?

Seriously though, there is no magic number that is perfect. It will depend on a lot of different things like body, tire size, look your going after. Too many variables to say this is perfect. Most of my 2.2 builds though have been anywhere from 12" to 14". | |

I see what you mean now, i'd go as long as you can without looking ridiculous, and shorten till it performs how you want, good luck |

If you aren't fitting the wheelbase to the body then you should fit the wheelbase on the size of the tire. For example if you are running a 37" tire on the real rig then take whatever your tire is that you are going to use on the RC and scale appropriately.

Gotcha that makes sense theres just that balance between to short of wheel base and your belly pan clearing everything and falling over all the time and being to long and not falling over and hanging up on everything
