Default Resurecting a monster ttc

i got my hands on this rig recently and figured id do a little bit of body work, paint it and call it good.

ya gotta love usps, as well as this thing was packaged it still wound up having a chunk of the ass-end break off.

body-off

its running a stout pede trans, maxx shafts, dual ??? oz servos, and a quark roadster esc( 2-6s capable, built in 5a bec very tunable esc) and..the little gem, not sure of the kv on this motor but its a 28mm outrunner and on a 50amp 4s lipo this thing is FAST. this is an older video from the previous ownerso with the damged body, i started doing a litle thinking and i think a full rebuild is in order i started in on the new jk body and quickly cut the hell out of it,

short ;little video

we all know the direction im going, brute/j8/or jt cab whatever you want to call it thats where im headed.i am a body work NEWB so if anyone has suggestions on a filler/putty that'd be great. anyway a few mockups for ya. future plans are lower body cleaning up chassis and powdercoating, and some tube work, just not sure if i want a truggy or a nice tube flatbed. give me your thoughts

Ya I have a 4 day weekend coming up so we should be able to pump out a lot of tube work, gonna cut the frame and go truggy with it,need to incorporate an exo or atleast a partial cage around the cab i plan on beating the snot outta her, so I'd like to keep the cab as intact as possible.

ya thats already on the list, gonna massage the frame a little and powdercoat everthing but there is still alot of welding to do. as tfor the axial trans i think im gonna pass for now the pede is low already built with metal internals im grabbing an alum. case for it. and hell if all else fails i'll throw an r2 in it

ya to say the least, the prev. owner warned me that it had a little punch. runs great on 2s so im sure that'll be the way i go. and hell if it doesnt work out as a ttc rig i can always get out the cardboard and breakdance with it

Oh and thanks to my bud twisted bender he is handling all the tubework. He does all the 1:1 work so why not have him do this. Thanks man. Next up cut the frame behind the cab and finish it in tubework with a bed that strays a little from the norm ya see on here
