Default My Class 3 rig, "Orange Crush Bronco"

Been waiting for the rules to come out to build the next rig. Not that I will be traveling to the big Comps any time soon but just in case. Initially I wanted to work with a Tacoma body but the welder steered me in another direction. I did some research and decided to give the Bronco body a go. Currently, the parts necessary to mock up are in the mail heading to the welder's house but I took some pics before packing. Here are the parts used:

SCX chassis
Bronco body
R1 axles
True scale RC4WD shocks (rebuilt and polished)
Topcad 2.2 wheels
Proline Swamper tires
CC Mamba Max Pro ESC
CC BEC
35t Holmes Sport motor
Hitec 5955tg servo
Team 3six scale kit

Just the basics:

Got some updates already so here is how the body is progressing:

Cut and mocked up:

Something to feed on:

More to come soon!

I have been checking out this wheels for a while so I decided to give them a try. Pretty good price too, they are coming from Hong Kong but I have bought items from this store before with no issues.

Someone that uses these please post any more info you have on them. Wondering how much these rims weigh? The shipping seems to be to good to be true.

I do like the looks of this build so far.

I gave the welder the green light to come up with his own design but here is the concept we are after as far as tube work (It won't be a replica of neither though):

Sweet lookin build so far man. Wish I never sold my bronco body.

Not that is matters, but for scale realism, that LP (propane) tank is a DOT vapor tank and cant be used for LP injection. You need a liquid tank, like a fork lift cyl. to run an LP injection system.

But with for an RC it isnt going to matter much. STILL LIKE IT THO. '

BTW where did you get the cylinder?
