Dont knock on the flat irons i have them on my wifes truck and she went better in the sand and mud than my truck did with cut slingers so i put some on my truck until the new swampers came out.

On stock Axial 1.9 rims, they do not fit (ran into that on mine). The problem is rubbing on the knuckles. A rim with less backspacing would help. I couldn't source any aluminum spacers that were the right length so I ran 2.2's. I did not mount but checked the fit of Axial knuckles, they seemed to fit and bolted up. I did not have any bearings for them so I can not say for sure if the Venom cvd's will work in the Axial knuckles (I believe they will). I had an extra set from one of my Axial rigs and they mounted to the axles just fine so the mounting points are correct. This may be an easy option to solve the 1.9's not fitting the Venom Axles. The Axial knuckles arm is much different and would solve the rubbing issue. | |

Anyone ever use a LRP Waterproof Runner Series ESC?? I recently picked one up on clearence from my LHS. It is TINY, which is prett cool. It works great with plenty of low end and high speed control. It is cheaper than the Traxxas XL-5..... and handles down to a 18 turn motor. I just run 20 Turn Stingers in the Mud....can't kill them |
