Default 2.2 Junkyard Build (pic heavy)

here's a rig I started for a local compitition between some friends and I, well the comp has been posponed and pushed back till we decided to just call it off for the time being,
iot was sposto be a lo-budget build off using as many parts from our accumulative junkyard, anyways here's what I started with

here's some of the highlights of the work I did to this pile of parts

all done the first time

a lil rear suspention re-work and some new flares

had a minor accident by falling off a desk so it got repaired and repainted so here's how it sets now

the trans has a shucked low gear/ 4wd so she's a 2 wheeler till I locate some replacement gears

what yall think for it being a pile of parts and less than $300 of replacement/new parts and supplies?

Nice job!!

I think it would look even better with the body lowered a bit, and some 1.9 Mud Slingers.

I had it setting over some 1.9 slingers and didn't like how small they looked, plus I'm using un-modified Bruiser axles so untill I get a lathe or decide modify the axles I'm stuck with the 2.2'sI'm

yep, cut all the short lugs off, they work great in snow and mud but don't crawl very well

thanks there's a lot of hours into it and I keep changing lil things every once in a while, currently looking for replacement gears for that vintage bruiser trans or a cheep used axiel trans and motor being as I already have the skidplate that I could mount it to just so I can run it while looking for the trans parts, and a viable in-expencive set of steel driveshafts being as I keep streching the nuckles out and twisting them apart

Wow I've been on quite a hiatus from here, so I'll update a little, started re-engenering the rear suspention and trying to deciding what to do about the stripped 1st gear in the vintage Tamiya Bruiser tranny. Starting to think bout scrapping it and swapping to a Axiel gearbox. Maybe if i e-bay the set of vintage clod axles to pick up something good for parts.
