Default in the making flattie crawler

specs:
tlt locked axles
ex. gi joe jeep body
pede tranny
narrowed pede rears
hpi geolandars
drill motor
138 oz. servo










Plans:
Roll cage
paint
A. bumpers, front fender, and roll cage black
B. rest of body silver like the rims
c. jerry can red
recarocell pone seats ( i think they will fit)

What do you guys think?

Looks good to me. Do you have your cage mapped out already? Full cage or standard passenger cage?


One other random question though. Which GI Joe body is that? It looks metal from the pics. I want to make a scale version of my Slinky Willys, but the standard plastic bodied GI Joe jeep is 1:6th scale and a little too big for the TLT axles in my opinion.

I have the 1:6th version, but I want to get something just a tad smaller (the Wild Willys is too small)

the gi joe body i believe i got @ kb toys. it actually isnt a gi joe its some off brand. ive had it for a couple of years and it was layin' around so...
ohh and it is 1:6
The cage is undecided

looks like a good start to me .... how come when one type of truck apears, more like it come up in builds??? the brando trucks, (like, 3 of them at once) flatties,( i think theres 2 or 3 right now) and tubers(there everywhere)... its just somthing i noticed...
