Default Scratch built Scout

Started a new build a scratch built Scout http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n...8/DSCI0075.jpg
The first thing I did is print out a 6 page profile to the scale of my 2.2 tires. This thing is going to be big 2 feet long LOL. 2 feet long 11 inch wide and about 13 inch tall. So this is the plan for the body. Make a cardboard mockup then make balsa wood body panels and vacuform them in plastic instant hardbody . I cant fit the hole thing on my vacuformer so Ill have to brake it up into parts and glue it together later. The frame shouldn't be hard it just a straight ladder type with a dip in the middle.

couldnt find balsa wood so I had to use foam. The prob with foam is hot plastic sticks to it and melts it so the hole mold is coverd with paper. Where I cant bend the paper around I use wood filler and spot putty.

Nice

You own a vac or work where there is one?
My previous employer had one, which I wish I still had access to.
