Looking good man. A quick tip on posting pics. Hit enter/return between them. It's much easier to scroll down to see them all instead of scrolling right. |

Well we've already had to make some adjustments/changes..we had to change the position of the motor/tranny so the way we thought or came up with was to flip it upside down and tap&drill new holes in the case to make it work.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Then of course we had to make new holes in the tranny mount as well ![]() ![]() Then again we ran into another slight road block, with the new position,it was hitting the servo sooo we decided to take the servo brakets and flip them to bolt onto the outside, this gave us just enough room for what we wanted ![]() ![]() What that being done, now we had to move the transfer case over to the other side and with that being done,i decided to make a better bracket for thatvas well, just to bring it up for better angle for the driveshafts ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

So my boy saw these bent links and fell in love with them so i found some used ones for cheap and thought that this is his build as well as mine so we just got em this morning and were going to give them a shot,i do think they will look good with this build,to me they do look more scale looking(my opinion)..and while im on the scale subject i just wanna take this time to give all you guys who fab/build your own rigs from scratch a thumbs up,my respect to people like MG200,SPYDERWEB CUSTOMS and etc,for all of you who take the time to build and create these beast,my hat goes off to us all!anybody can buy a puzzle and put it together but to make your own is to me..A WORK OF ART!...no disrespect to the guys who buy theses allready made chassis etc,im just giving the guys who put thier sweat&tears into these things cuz were new to this and we've been on it for days, hours and more days and hours working/fabing this thing and we are having a blast!..just sucks that i dont have my garage anymore/my welders, tools etc..we do it all from my kitchen table?..sad i know but thats what happens when you go through a devorce and she gets it all :( but i cant complain cuz it keeps me and my boy working together,we spend our time wisely and most of all...WE HAVE FUN BUILDING THESE THINGS,well its our 1st so hopefully more to come?well back to having fun and always,enjoy.. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That is really cool Appreciate you sharing....this is a very rewarding hobby for sure. I just got into brazing and its a blast. In fact you can see that same figure in my tundra build...the attention to detail on that figure is amazing.

Well,i'm on hold until this tube bender comes in,the one i got from tower hobbies doesn't work well on the brake line but works pretty good on the solid rod.also went to my local hobby store today and picked up a few goodies for the interior and i saw this rope and thought it might just come in handy for a tow rope or something, looks cool and was only $2.98...can't beat that? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
