So this came about by accident. I was working on this body on and off for the last few weeks and I finally started to convert the SCX10 over to a 2.2 monster. The original body was a dove nose f350...problem was that the 2.2 are such a big tire it rarely looks "right." I tried to stretch the wheelbase to get a better stance and look. By the time I felt that it looked right it seemed to long for my F350 body...around 12.5-13. Sitting there now a bit frustrated I remembered my old JK body I bought like over a year ago. Thing is, back then every other thread in 1.9 and 2.2 sections seemed to be a JK build. I just didnt want to vest time in something I felt was played out....but this is actually one of the bodies that made me get into scale in the first place. I pulled it out and looked at it and started cutting...This is going to be slow going with my work and fam life but I will enjoy every minute of it. I am pretty pumped about this build. Ha ha...i know one of those guys,he's my fj cruisers full time driver(without the gun,lol) Lookin good man,look forward to this build. Ps...showing off the two tone CAC's i see,lol.. |
