Default project: BOUNTY HUNTER

if you have spent any time wheeling in the south east you know or have heard about the rock bouncers. the guys that travel all over looking for stupid big climbs to attack. sometimes they make it sometimes they don't. a few of the big names that are building these rigs are, wide open design, coleworx rock racing factory, and smith motor sports. i plan on building a low slung rig with big horse power. i am NOT building this rig to look like any of the the buggy's that are out there today, let me just get that out of they way. instead i will be building something inspired by these company's. i don't have a clue what it will look like and to me that's the best part. i have been looking at picture for days on in and im about ready to start on the cage. i just got all my parts in and here is a look at the axles i will be trying. i don't know if they will hold up to the beating the twin force axles took, but we will find out!

honestly i have my doubts about these axles. but i figure if i can build it light enough they might hold up. im almost positive these universals will be screaming for mercy. i think i can make it work long enough though until i get to try some super 300's. but hell you never know it might just be the ticket! time will tell....

Good luck, this should be fun. I have been watching a lot of videos of that type of wheeling lately. I am looking forward to this. The Tim Camerons videos got me watching this stuff. not so much the style of buggy as it is nothing revolutionary, but the wheeling style. The wheeling I have always done in large did not involve such aggressiveness. I love it

Oh yeah, excited about this build. Love your other builds.

Are those RC4WD aluminum housings or plastic / stock? Can't tell.

that's good to know because that's the power plant im looking at. how does it crawl compared to the blower buggy? and how is the top end compared to the blower buggy? your input here will probably seal the deal.

I was running a tekin t8 1550kv on 6s with a summit 2 speed, stock dog bones and they held up!

I switched to the rc4wd cvd's they only lasted a few packs. The stock lockers and gears didn't last long either.

As long as the RX8 isnt used it will be fine. I have not had alot of time driving the buggy and the RX8 wouldnt be my choice of ESC's after trying it. Then just waiting on parts. Great shelf queen! LoL The Pro4 on a MMP with I think 3s 50c picked the front end off the ground. The MMP with the T8 on 6s did it but it took the leep from 4s to 6s to do so.

The Tekin ESC's are smoother and provide more power. Im happy with 3s and Im sure 4s on my RSPro will be a really nice fit. Goodluck man, thanks for the Hijack
