My truck is on the left. You should do an exo to protect that expensive body. | |

hey mike, after looking at the pics of your chassis, i am wondering if the crossmembers are far enough forward. it looks like the trans will be in the same place as before.:-( i made them 1/2" forward from what i had originally. let me know if you need new ones. i'll swap them out if necessary. dean |

Great looking truck. Do you mind sharing what type of spacer you used on the front axle? Thanks.

Well Guys I have been hard at work on the Nissan, I got my Tekin back fromTekin (ultra fast, less then a week) and got that mounted up on the back side of the interior (nice and high) and water proofed the reciever box a little bit better. I then decided it was time to step it up, I want the pathfinder to be as badass as possible...sooooo after a convo back and fourth with a member of scale 4x4 I got him to make me some AWESOME dash guages into stickers, that he designed. Well they arrived and they are AWESOME. the detail on them is amazing and he has EVERY guage you can ever imagine... Gas, oil, volts, temp, rpm, speedometer, altimeter , tcase temp, f.diff temp, trans temp, r.diff temp ETC ETC SO I ditched the stock bruiser ones and I installed a set of RPM and Speedometer ones along with the fuel guage in the stock guage cluster location I then realized they were printed on a clear back ground...then the wheels started turning...HMMMMMM So I started hacking at the dash and cut out the spot where the stereo would go and installed a Temp, Oil, and Volts guage. I then also made an altimeter guage to mount up on the dash... well I couldnt stop there...I had to do something I have never scene anyone else do (cept till yesterday when I found a post on tamiya club with some dude building the SCALEST hummer ever ). I had to do dash lights So after many PIA nights this past week, I constructed my own guage panels and installed the mini bulbs I recently picked up (There is a post here somewhere with them). The result was AWESOME its hard to see it in the pics, but the guages look soooooooooo real now. Especially since you can actually see that the guages say "OIL" and stuff I gotta take better pics, this was my moms camera and mine just plain sucks at close ups so I need to borrow the GFs again I also wired up headlights and installd a savage bumper with KC lights from Cul-tech from tamiya club Well Enjoy guys, lemme know what ya think -Mike |
