I DID GET A LITLE AHEAD OF MYSELF ON THIS BUILD! i started taking crappy pics late but here is the low down... with all the koh/G6 events popping up i new i wanted to build a go fast truggy. i wanted an independent front end, trailing arms, wraith rear axle, 2 speed tranny and some brushless speed. i basically started this ground up and here are some pics to get you jump started to where i am today i sarted with a slash front end with the stampede rear arms to shorten her up a bit. coupled with some really cool RCE parts, RC4WD trailing arms, summit 2 speed trans, a wraith rear axle and a sheet of 1/8" carbon fiber, some 1/4" delrin and some cnc cutting we are here. basic roller i am using the strc slash 4wd parts for the front end with the x duty mips. there were some fitment issues so i had to do some mill work to the hubs to get the clearences i needed. i will be running the pro 4 motor in this (there is clearence to run the t8 also) but there was an issue with the pinion lining up with the spur no matter what the pinion orientation was, so i made a 1/4" delrin spacer to pull the motor back a bit. all better now the tube work went really fast and pics were slim but this will let you see the drection i am going. battery location some more progress Last edited by krawlfreak; 12-12-2011 at 01:44 PM. |

Wow, this thing should go like a bat out of hell! Any chance of lowering the battery to a different location? Looks like a lot of weight to have up high. |

That's pretty tough! Think you could mount the battery under the tray for a lower cog? |

All of the carbon fiber and delrin pieces are my own design and cutting. It is all good now. I have a pro 4 in my Tundy and it is great. The t8 would be for all out fury... | |

This is one Badass IFS Truggy! Excellent work! I thought I seen some disc in the pics, very nice scale addition. I'm with Nabil on the chassis... Needing one of those soon. |

I will be using the highland locker with the larger mounting hardware and a set of 36/14 hardened gear set. Redrilled and countersunk gear assembly I will try the plastic housing for now until vanquish has there axle housing available... |
