| Rooster crawler ESC on a 2.2 crawler king
Hey I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their rooster crawler esc. I had an xl5 in it before and it ran perfectly now when I put the rooster in I only have torque when I go reverse!! I can go up anything in reverse but not forward, ( I know the wires connecting the motor to the esc are in the correct place I was wondering if I got a dud or if there is a setting that I need to change! There is nothing about this on the instruction book and I looked all over the web and can't find anything on it!! Any help is nice I am getting impatient!!!

try swapping the motor wires (at the motor end). I know the Rooster is current limited in reverse so it's likely the motor itself is wired backwards (not that it really matters, it just determines a direction of rotation). If you still have bullet connectors attached just swap them, no need to resolder anything. |
