73' Brocno -MOA to shafty conversion

In the next few weeks I will tearing out the Redcat RS10XT axles from under my bronco and doing a full shafty conversion with T-case. have not complied my build list yet, I have a buddy how has a set of axles (wraith I think) that I can get cheap. I have access to a R2 T-case, I think it is a DIG unit. not sure yet about the transmission or the motor (will be be brushed, might just use one of my 380 cans for now till I can upgrade the ESC)

If your interested in the build to this point, the origianl thread is here:

or if all you want are the pics, there are here:

I suppose it will be better to do this before I lay the interior in.

**Ack!!!! is there a way to edit the title??? damn fast fingers**

Re: 73' Brocno -MOA to shafty conversion

I have never run a shafty before and all the products are new to me. I was thinking about going with a planetary transmission from RC4WD or I can get a R2D for a decent price. all I currently have is a stock redcat RS10xt ESC and a set of their 380 motors. I see the Venom 540 and water proof ESC sets on ebay for a decent price, their 55t, would this be a good direction? i don;t really need the water proof ESC as all my electronics are in a box. could use some direction here, seems like i am going to end up with 200 to 300 bucks in the drive train at this rate.
