Added a RC4WD Winch today. This one has a keychain remote since my 3rd channel is used for dig on this rig. The motor is a bit big on one side making it look a little goofy. But it works great and came with an extra motor and gear set.

Winch and stinger look good together! How do you like the winch? Is it strong?

Says it can do 4lbs. I never try to vertical pull my truck and I usually drive while pulling so I think I will be fine. I was able to drag it across the ground with the snatch block. Its a little hard to drive and winch at the same time but I do like that you have to hold the button to move it. As soon as you let go it stops. That's nice.

I've seen Tin's bug in action, it's pretty impressive. It eats obsticles up, it's pretty hard core.

Just posted up the video of the winch and pull pal action. Also tried out the snatch block Josh_Br made me.

You could damn near seal up the engine and just make it a waterproof enclosure

And I used a Wraith oil pan this time too, maybe not quite as scale but it's still a v-dub motor

I'm still scrounging for some more yellow wire, the red doesn't look right. Looking at the pics it could use some valve covers too... almost done.

PM me your address and I'll ship first of the week

Saw this pic today while doing some internet surfing. It reminded me of your rig.

Nice smaller ties then mine. Hoping to run it at next big dog. Class 3 course should have a mandatory winch point.

Boo. I dont know if the bug will have a winch by then. However, I can always take a penalty.

I have another servo winch. :-) I would love to actually get to use the winches.

x2. I want to use my winch. I have a longer winch cable now, and the pull pal you made me (it's painted black now). I was delighted to use my winch last time when I was on my roof. I'd like to use it more.
