Workin on some scale accessories. I thought that since this beast is an F-350, it might as well have a yellow tank. My tow strap fits inside it too. I am working on an interior and a look-a-like driver. More to come.

I have a Rock figure as my driver. My wife got upset tonight when she found out that I spent $10 on it (the figure). I sure hope she doesn't open her eyes to see the truck around him/it.

Now my over priced figure has something to hold onto. I have shaped some lexan into a console and a dashboard. I wrapped the top of the dash and the console area with black duck tape. It gives it a little bit of a carbon fiber look. Because I could only imagine how much the real stuff costs. I could always sell a set of my wife's shoes. She may never notice one pair being gone.

That gear had many miles on it. So I am not too upset. SS is probably really nice, but I'm gonna hold off from that one right now.

I recently acquired some Wraith Curries in a trade. So I am going to try and put them on my SCX based F-350. I've been looking to scale this truck out a little more, but still keep its performance the same. So let me see what I can do. The first thing I had to do is find the right SLW hubs to keep my width the same. I had been running the XR-10 beef tubes in SCX axles with 725 hubs to get me at 7.25" on the inside of my tires. I found that changing to the 225 hubs with Wraith put me exactly where I wanted. Next, the setting up of the gears. 43 in the rear and 36 up front with VP lockers, and a generic CVD up front for now. Right now, I have some HR chubs and knuckles to throw on these. I was also able to get a set of 100mm King shocks. Last edited by I.D.10.T; 08-13-2014 at 10:31 AM. Reason: spelling problem |

Small changes happening with the old Ford. I had an axle swap with another truck that was leaving the herd. So I put some silver Curries on the F-350 and some Gear Head wheels. While I was at it, I thought that I'd put a little scale touch on the rotors. 1. Hooked them up to some hubs. 2. Spun them and hit them with sand paper. 3. Spun them again and touched them with a little black paint on a rag. 4. Viola. They look used. And I know I'm missing a bolt. |

I like how you shortened the front grill. Looks veryyyy similar to a rig at my lhs. Both are badass! Does it have dig?

| Re: F-350 TTC Mattzilla I have no idea who makes them. They came on some drift wheels and then they met my Dremel so that they could be modified for these wheels. I'm thinking about trying to make a set from some body washers. It'll be done on my Clod if I do it.

| Re: F-350 TTC Mattzilla Thanks. It work great this way with the fender trimming. No DIG here. The overs and under gears work well on allowing it to steer in a close circle. I wish my other trucks worked similar to this one.
