Update Got the Cab Flatted and Laqcuered, Its not bad its not perfect! but Dan is Going to use this so the odd little mark isn't really going to matter. Dashboard is in and finished, I haven't gone mad but all the right bits are in the right places. |

I finally got a chance to get started on this last night.... A bit of square tube, the FJ cab, an SCX skid and a wraith axle all to start planning. The Proffit cruisers are just a bit of frame and a whole lotta tube. So I heated and bent square tube to geve me a little kick up and laid the drivetrain combo in to get some ideas. I'm impressed with the new R3 tranny it leaves a whole ton of options for motor position. Up, down, left right they are all possible by rotating the motor mount with 3 screws. I am shooting for easy to maintain and simple mounting. in the chassis. There are a few holes they have in the bellhousing that make mounting this easy. for now 1 side is located, I'll pick up the other side next but I am also trying to locate the shift servo so it will prolly be a dual purpose mount. The cab will sit a bit higher but you can see the floor should be darn near flat. You can also see that the drivetrain should sit nice and far forward for Neil to do his interior magic on this. |

All in the land of dready is numb. How in the hell can anyone drive one of these sick creations by such a fantastic fabricator. You Dready are one insane designer. And with Dans handy tube work. These are bound for greatness. |
