| FJ40 The Twins 'A Dready and Difuser Production' Video Page 13
I really didn't need another project but it was raining today so headed off down the Scrap Yard to pick up some materials. Note (I have had this idea for ages) Back in the Shop it looks like I have enough pieces to make a New Bodyshell. Then and this is the genius part.............. I cloned it with my secret Cloning machine. Now here's the Headsup, I dont have the facilities to fabricate a Tube Chassis for this body. If I did I would do it myself. What I'm looking for is a Chassis Builder who if there up for it. Would like to fabricate a Chassis for me to fit this body. Blank Canvas to do whatever you like. Only Stipulation is I would like to run Wraith Axles on my Rig and an axial trans In exchange I would like to give them the other body as a Straight Swap. I will then finish the 'Chassis Builders Body' and ship it to them So that they can build the Chassis I would like a chassis shipped to me once they have completed it. Once the chassis has been shipped to me I will fabricate a detailed interior piece and send it to the Chassis Builder to finish off there FJ40 I will finish there body however they like. Anyone Up for this? Drop me a PM You Must be able to show evidence to me of your Talent when it come to making a Tube Chassis and have good feedback and reputation. I'm located in London but I will help out with the International Shipping Costs In the meantime i'll get cracking on both of them. I hope that this thread is OK here and doesn't infract the wraith of a Mod as its not in the BST I would like to show the Build up of both bodies and eventually we will have 2 very nice Fj's to show for it. | re: FJ40 The Twins 'A Dready and Difuser Production' Long way to go yet A full body takes me around 50 hours these are alot easier as there probably going to be class 3's i'd say around 25 in each it is alot easier making the second one at the same time I just cut out double the styrene parts and glue them in the same place. No its mine and its working just fine at the moment. |

It'll be nice to see what builds will come from both of those bodies. |

So Neil and I have been working out the details on these FJ's. Neil likes the look of some of Proffitts builds so I'll be looking for inspiration there. I am hoping to see a body in the next month or so to start fabrication. I am thinking I will be doing an FJ45 and a 40 for Neil. After doing the FOJV for Norm the collaboration build has been a fun idea. Look for a build thread on my FJ coming soon and maybe some scale greatness coming from Norm(team3six) For now, where's more updates to heck with work....poor excuse. |

I'm not slacking honest Going the full nine yards with these!! Opened up the Airvent and got the 7 Vents in, What a pain in the arse!! Also added the remains of the door hinges that were. Do you want the Screen on yours or not? I think no screen just tube thoughts? Last edited by Dready; 07-16-2012 at 02:12 PM.

You're the styrene man you make the call, I'm good with whatever you decide. The working vent looks dialed. Did you see my thought about going FJ45 with mine? If you do 40 are you going all the way around with the rear fender just no rear doors? Last edited by Difuser; 07-16-2012 at 04:12 PM. |

Whats the difference?? 40 and 45? Mines finishing at the back doors so the rear can be tube or panelled I'm going to keep the screens. What colour do you want yours?

45 is the truck, so the cab would be rounded in back. Roof would be cool but I could also do cage work for the roof. Or give me an extra cab size for the 2 row cage/ interior. The bed sides would be simple flat work and no bed I'd build a tube dropped bed for it. Color still unsure but leaning towards a bright Red or Camel Yellow When I build the tube work I plan to build them sxs so now that I think about it leave mine full body it would make a mess if I am just sending tubework back over. Any plans to open the hood on these? Last edited by Difuser; 07-16-2012 at 04:20 PM. |

No doors. If you do the 45 I think you're going to still have to ship your body over so I can build with it. |

Thats OK I'll send them both no worries and I'll hold off painting mine till it returns. I'll get mine done first and post it then you will have something to be getting on with. Whilst you have it I'll crack on with yours. Last call on Colour before I order some Candy Pink
