Default Fj40 KOH

Well ive gotten bored with my honcho.(bone stock) So ive been wonting to make a KOH (king of the hammers) build forever just never had the funds i do now so off i go. I wonted to do a 1.9 but i dont think the wheels and tire will be tall enuff so im going 2.2. Well my insperation kinda couldnt find any so i drew it up. so hopefully it wont be to hard to make. This will be my first Tube build. im ok at soildering so why not try brazin.
So spec

scx-10 honcho frame (have to shorten)
Traxxas 4ch micro receiver
Vxl brushless system now with cc 4 pole 3800kv and mamba max pro
stock axles
Tamyia Fj40 body
4 link front and rear
King Off Road shocks
Mil-spec ZXL 2.2 rc4wd tires 2.2 rox loxs
axial rockster 2.2
rc4wd bulldog winch
wraith complete interior (if it will fit)
3/16 brake line
stock axial servo

So heres some of my drawings

hoping when the body gets in ill get the tube and the frame all figured out
and started. and start buring my fingers. LOL

Any tips ideas are always appreciated.

2.2 KOH rigs is where it's at!! I would opt for a different power system though. That weak Traxxas VXL w/3500kv 2 pole is okay but has absolutely no programability and weak torque. For the price of that combo ~$150 I'd go for something else...I'm assuming you will be needing at least 3s which the VXL will handle but keep in mind there's no drag brake. VXL on 3s tends to overheat which is why they made that fan option.

Look into a sensored brushless setup if u really prefer brushless but they sure get pricey. If you run a 21.5 sensored brushless you might want to up it to a 4s pack. An 18.5 sensored brushless would do fine on 3s though.

But if you want to stay within that $150 range I'd look into some sort of Castle 1/10 Sidewinder ESC with a Castle BEC to supply enough juice to a power hungry high torque servo to steer that big 2.2 KOH buggy along with a high quality handwound motor (Holmes, Brood, Tekin, etc.). Or you could go with a high quality ESC like Holmes BRXL capable up to 6s and runs only brushed motors. Some run it without an external BEC...some do depending on servo specs/weight of rig/power.

There's lots of threads on here debating sensored brushless and brushed...like this one: Opinions on Brushless Motor Options(Brushed Also)

Does anyone make the bellcrank that mounts to the chasis for the steering sevro. ive seen one on a build but now cant find the build. i would like the sevro be next to the transfer case for a lower CG and it looks more scale.
And the specs on the wraith interior. LxHxW
Thanks

Sorry, can't help you with your questions, but I like your design.

May your build go smoothly.

Well thought i had a little more money than i though so this wil now now be a slower build then a hoped. The amazon said the body should be here on the Thirtyh and it showed up today cant wait to get the tube and get started,But its going to kill me to cut this body up but there is a line runnin diangely down the back!!! What The Fawk! But oh well this is a beater anyways. so heres the body and some changes to the tubing.

and the NEW tubing plans(easier two make)

But Some stuff will change as i go on.

Oh and heres the Line if you look real close you can see it its right in the middle of th finder its a starit line.
