Default Diaz Designs Lunchbox...

i thought i'd build this just because. the lunch box was the first r/c car that got when it first came out in the 80's. so i made a frame for it. just tried to see if i could get the springs under the 8" wb and it works. i think i'll buy a new body and mount it to the frame. what do you guys think?

Dude, that rocks! I wonder how it would look with Moabs or Geolanders? Heck, wonder how it would look with some of those 1.9's?!

You should hang some Barbie panties off the rear view mirror

Looks awesome with the Geolanders! Throw it on some rocks and shoot some video. I love it!

Did you redesign the leaf spring blocks? I see the axel housings are upside right instead of upside down like usual for your design.

the blocks are the same design. you can use them on the top or bottom. just if you use them on top you have to drill 1 new hole on each side

Good to know, thought maybe you were using 1 scew to hold them on just for the pics.

I will actually get to do some building on mine this next week, hope to get it at least to hold itself up. Then see which transmission I like best in it.

That Van body have room on the inside? Would be cool to be able to sit it over top the chassis/transmission and put 1.9 tires on it... assuming they would fit in the wheel wells and not stick out the sides...

Otherwise, paint it up like the mystery machine and have scooby doo drive that beast around.

Just looked at the pics again, nice hiding of that broken axle yoke.

Default Way cool...

I really dig that!

It would seem like that chassis size would fit a lot of the smaller Tamiya bodies....It would be cool to see how it would look with the Wild Willy body. That was my first RC.....

Will you be selling these?

Great job.
