| Buddy L Rock Buggy (Post-Apocalyptic style)
I've had this little Buddy L truck sitting around for a bit, and its always been too small for a 1/10 rig, so I've not used it till now! I was looking over some pics of Mad Max style rigs, and got the idea to do something a little less meticulous than many of us normally build. So, it looks like crap on purpose! LOL Enjoy. Chassis is a Tamiya TA-01/02 Hummer 280mm wheelbase. Inspiration: Marek Denko Buggy is a true tribute to Mad Max trilogy Buggy | Best GPS Reviews Site |

I slimmed down the nose, and tapered the tail section to fit the chassis, and tacked it all together with some stainless rod, and stainless plate. More pics |

Oh yes, the Lizards stay. They just fit! I thought my 1.9" tires on my Hummer were going to be the max, but I got lucky. I'm hoping to get this rig to climb well with my Tekin FXR. Should know in a couple of weeks.

I hope so! I keep trying to find things I have to add, or modify to ad. Its not done yet! I'm waiting for Tekin to warranty my FXR, and I have a 35t motor for it too. I'm hoping it climbs well. |

Just realized I forgot to post the final pics: This things crawls great! The nose is a little bit of an issue, but what it can't do with torque it does with power! Very impressive for what it is. Now planning a new one with a shorter 10" wheelbase, lots of alloy parts for strength, and another take on the Buddy L theme. |

That's pretty cool looking. It looks like one of the vehicles from the movie "Mad Max Beyond thunderdome".... |

Cool looking rig. Kinda like George Jetson's Thunderdome truck. I like it. |
