| Strange Brew strange brew This is Corey Fishers 1990 Toyota. It sits on 419 Mog axles, 20 inch Stazwork wheels, 46 inch Claws, reversed mid engine GM 502,rear steer,Atlas, linked, coiled and painted in VW Fahrenheit Orange. We all call Corey, "Fish" because there are too many Corey's in our group, and his last name is Fisher so it works. Fish is a good friend of mine and he has been wanting me to build his scaler for him. Now that TTC is over with I can now move on this build. The cool thing is Fish is going to let me enter this into next years TTC, and drive it if it makes it in. This is going to be a long build. I am in the middle of launching CHC Corey Hall Customs. Many of my new products will be showcased on this build. To do this rig justice, I need to make sure I hit the major design details. The builder of Strange Brew is Jason Wiedhunner. If that name sounds familier its cause Jason also built the 1.1 Blazer Buggy. Here is the build thread on Pirate. PHISH's SPAWN BUILD - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum The reason the truck is called Strange Brew.......Its from Canada EH so "take off you hosers" strange brew - YouTube |

Nice I was hoping someone would tackle this rig one day. I've seen it in CRAWL and have liked it ever since. Do all the women in Canada look that lady? more importantly do they all wear that outfit? I like. Last edited by salmonfacesalad; 10-14-2012 at 07:55 PM. |

Thanks for all the good words guys. I plan on taking this build to the next level. I would like to make most of the parts. I would like to make my own trans and T-case, body, chassis, shocks and the big one.....a set of functional scale 419 Mog axles. From scratch. This is going to be tough considering all the dimple dies Jason used on the 1.1.

Please tell me you arent going to take as long as Jason did to finish this?! No really, take your time, do it right. I know this will turn out great. Do you know if he is going to enter it in TTC for next year? Would be cool if he made it in next year then you got voted in with this for the scale TTC.
