Default Dominator1's Wraith/SCX JK build by ScaleReady

My brother Wes (Dominator1) has been VERY patient with this build. It has been in the works since we got back from the Rubicon in June or July. It is to a point now, to where it deserves it's own build thread. It is wraith based, as far as drivetrain goes. It is running an SCX10 chassis with a modified Wraith skid mounted inside of it. It is a perfect match

This is a collaborative build between the two of us, but he is giving me creative reign on whatever I do

On to the pictures:

Here are some more recent shots of it. We are trying o keep the frame as clean as possible, so everything to this point is all bolt on. The interior cage is merely started right now. You may notice in the pictures that I tied the cage into the top of the shock towers. Helps support the towers from deflecting at all while crawling. There aren't really any crossmembers in this, so every little bit helps Anyone who has ever done an interior cage on a rig with full interior, feels my pain on this. So far so good. Everything is pretty tight. The body is going to be completely removable(minus the interior). Blah Blah Blah.....Pictures tell the story........

Anyone want a closer shot of these sliders?! They are BEEFY!!! He brought these over to me that other day. 3/16" steel that he burnt out on his plasma table. They are sturdy as HELL Also a good shot of the HR swaybar. Love the look of it on there. Doesn't hinder the flex either

Thanks man! He plans on keeping the body in good shape as long as he can. Just wait till you see the cool body protection we have in store for it

Thanks man! Definately have to keep your eye on this one. Building an interior cage, while it has full interior in it, is a tricky thing. Thanks for the challenge!

I love everything, but those damn axles! Way too wide. But, it is what it is. Great work on the interior cage. Subscribed! Also, PM sent.

I do agree that they are wide but I like low slung and wide. Its kinda my preference. I will need all the stability I can get because this may end up with a tekin rx8 and 3300 kv pro4 once i get done destroying my exo with it and tear it down for the next build

Hell yeah! Looks bitchin as usual Phil! I think some AXR10s will give it the perfect width keeping it low and wide!

I don't care for the center section on the ax10 axles. Maybe a set of rc4wd black widows or something though. Some really cool custom axles would really do phills work justice...maybe i can get my hands on a set of rock jocks....

Well, i think the VP currie axles are actually axr10 width. Those would set his work off perfectly!

hopefully I can get my hands on some. I have paypal ready for the release if they aren't insanely expensive. I want an offset front/centered rear so hopefully that will be an option with their first release.
