Well i got a light coat of primer on it. Decided to braze a couple nutz to the chassis for a few body panels. Right now i am trying to track down some nice rims with the perfect offset.

Damn Looney, you really can knock out a chassis quick like and looking proper! You have that brazing down to an art form for sure, looks like another badass build!

Thanks. Be thinking about picking some new TSS Robby Gordon beadlocks but a huge update thanks to warrisami the buggy is gonna be rolling on some limited edition TSS awsomeness. Will be showing Cory some scale love after all.

Well havent done much to the buggy. I finnished my 1.9 scaler so i could sell it in the classifieds and go ahead and finnish the buggy the right way. I did slip outside and get some poser shots with the new tsls i got. My new wheels should be here mon. And then the thrash to wrap it up will hopefully begin.

Poser shots look good, they'd look great if the leaves didn't throw off your eye.

The key to great scale pics is to not be able to reference anything out of scale near the rig. That's what the "scale police" has to say about that!

Can't wait to see more!

Been shopping around for a new powertrain cause i traded off the vxl setup. For those heavy buggy owners i am trying decide between HH rockracer brushed combo or the absurd MMP/Pro4 combo. I plan to run 3s, 4ws, and mostly trail running and bashing with the ability to crawl when i want. I think the holmes combo would suffice but the true to scale big block power of brushless would be cool.

After watching Harley's Jimmy's ultra 4 videos I'd say the mmp/pro4 is the way to go...it looked like it crawled fine and judging from the TTC pics had plenty of wheelspeed when needed at least that's what I've told myself because that is what I'll be using in my custom tuber when scaleready gets it built

If you have the extra cash to bulletproof your driveline, the Pro4 or Roc412 is a great choice. I run brushed or 2 pole motors on most of my rigs so I can get away with mostly stock parts.

I'm running the pro4 with the RS pro. As for the mmp I'd do a little research on running it with the pro4. I know a couple of guys that have problems with that setup and also read of several more when I was deciding on my setup. It was enough to convince me to use a tekkin esc instead of the mmp

Thanks for the info guys. Check out the new shoes. TSS Versanti limited edition beadlocks. I know bling doesnt get you anywhere on the trail but damn i think these wheels from TSS are dead sexy. I was super stoked when warisimi offered to sell me these. I saw them when they were produced but wasnt really in the 2.2 game and missed out. I am going to clean them up and change out the hardware as they are used. Not exactly traditional southern buggy style of rim but i wanted a more aggresive looking rim to fit the looks of the buggy. Thanks again to all who offered up wheels and tires while i was on the hunt for new treads. I appreciate all the help and am finnally satisfied with the combo. The track width is another reason these were a score. They keep the wraith axles to about 11.5". Now to sell the 1.9 rig and finnish this thing, which leads me to my next dilemma.......color choice!

Do you plan on doing panels or just cage? If no panels I'd do copper to match diff covers or white , just to do something no one else has yet. Chrome cage would be sweet too but I think you would have to paint the rims black.

Man that thing just looks better and better everytime you post....

Agree with ngward79.... White would look pretty killer, and make the frame pop out so you can see all the details...

Great work, look mean as hell. I have been spending way too much time looking through all the cage builds for ideas and I have to say yours is my favorite I have come across. Love how it flows from front to back, very mean.

I am sorry if this has been addressed, I didnt see it anywhere in the thread, but is the "hood" section removable? If so why? To access whatever electronics, ect you plan to put in there?

I am planning a few panels. I like the copper color but i hat the diff covers. I plan to deanodize them. I thought about white but the name suggests a more vibrant color. And yes the hood is removable and will most likely be a different color much like the 1:1 buggies. Thanks guys. I got to get working on it.
