Do you have any pics of the underside? The more I look at your build the more I want to get moving on mine. Love it.

For color I see that in like a blaze orange for the frame. Maybe with some silver panels? Dont know why just what comes to mind!

Yea im leaning towards a gunmetal and flouresent or mettalic orange combo with silver and black strips or slashs. Kind of a racecar feel

I also picked up all the aluminum goodies, servos, and universals to do the 4ws. Going to pick up the switches today to mod the tq2.4 i have to 3 channel 4ws setup with momentary pushbuttons.

Awesome thanks, that helps me a lot.
So you are using the stock plastic skid plate mounts for the upper as well as the lower links? Interesting.

Cant wait to see how the finished product looks.

Yep a lot of people have been using the stock skid and mounts. Its just too convenient. I wouldnt mind getting and aluminum aftermarket skid.

For now i just slapped on the goodies and took some more posers......please ignore the ginormous leaves....they are everywhere around here

Well stripped the chassis. Ready to braze on some body panel nuts. Started to mock up panels and dash.

Just the first coat. I will let it dry real good and spray it again. Its metallic gunmetal hammered finish. The hood section is metallic hot pink. Little crazy but it will probably change numerous times. The panels are cardboard templates. I will cut them out of aluminum mask off and paint up. I added some panels to mount elctronics and seats. I need to shop for lipos so i can see what will fit.

What do yall think?

Just wait until your builds take close to a year or longer. It's only going to get worse, trust me! I love the tube color and even like the "pink" It's different! I was wondering how you were going to do the panels. I like them. Just enough! And again, the lines of this buggy are SICK!

I finished my buggy today and I haven't posted it yet, but I took my rig out to make videos and it was the moment of truth, Everything ready to go, all shoe horned in....out in the wild...and....I couldn't get the battery wires to meet the esc! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I have so little space to play with. Everything is locked together! I finally made the connection with a mm to spare. Plan your electronics now. Mine was a nightmare (combined with the interior). I'm actually sore from working on the rig today!

Thanks bulldog. I was unsure on the panels myself but they worked out. I wish i would have brazed a nut uo near the front shock hoop just in case i wanted to bring the panel up further. Yea the pink was all my little girl. She loves crawling all over the buggy while im working in it in the living room and drooling on the tires, and i had the paint so i figured why not. Its easy to change if it gets old. Hopefully i can bring it to a close soon. Im bad about the long term builds too. What motor esc combo did you go with

Build looks great. In the planning stage of my buggy now. Can't wait to get building it. Thanks for the inspiration.
