| Nissan pathfinder SAS and Sand rail build
Well guys I lost ALOT of sleep this weekend, I was going through rc truck working on with drawel because I havent built anything since my PA comp I went to. With all the new awesome builds lately I needed to get my *** back in gear so friday into saturday, after the g.f. went home, I stayed up to 4AM and then the same the following night but till 5 AM. Here is some of what I accomplished. We will start with my latest build, Pathfinder # 2. Pick up this body for 60$ with the RAM lights and all. Its in damn good shape too. I hacked the flares off and I am putting on ones like I use on my other trucks (vaccum line rubber hose). I also ordered up a MSD roof rack and hi lift. hopefully thatll be here soon. I have Bender servo mounts and wheels from rc4wd with red ano rings that are pretty close to the body. Locked up axles with black foot stub shafts (to cheap to buy real wideners ) I am waiting on links to come in from the LHS and I need a emaxx trans and its ready to rock. have a lathe motor and a hitec servo and everything else. More pics to come on that one Next up is my Sand rail...I finally got it rolling only had it for almost 2 months now... Now I just am waiting for my Novak BL to comeback from Novak cause it of course crapped out Nice new gear box from the MSD shop with MIP CVDS and lunsford TI turnbuckles. more to come on this...Wait to you guys see the theme I am using I also installed some mashers on my Pathy Bruiser, The geos just werent cutting it, they werent tall enough and they axles were catching everything. I also recieved this awesome trans skid plate from my trans build, Juggsterr, I had told him the trans and mount were absolutely awesome. Great gear ratio and and totally bullet proof, but like any other Bruiser single speed trans that has been made, there is one gear that always hangs down somewhat. Now this trans isnt nearly has a bad as an Engle and if I didnt run the interior it wouldnt have even been an issue but I knew I needed some sort of skid plate, not only for protection but to give it that final detail Well here is what Kevin came up with for me well thats it for now, more work on Pathy # 2 and the sand rail so stay tuned -Mike Last edited by 1BadJeepBruiser; 08-29-2006 at 12:16 PM. |
