Finally got this bitch running! Just in time for the first comp of our summer series! I still have some details I need to work out. I'm not very happy with my battery location and power wires. I also need to get the seats figured out. |

Thanks guys. No there really isn't much room left under the hood. Right now I've got two crammed in the back. |

The wheelbase? It's shorter than a wraith.

Well considering the programming wasn't done to the Rock Rat before our comp this weekend I think 2nd place is pretty good. I had no drag brake, no instant reverse and my reverse power was set way too low to compete. I'm going to enjoy running this thing, especially now that we got it programmed correctly. I wish Castle would publish castle link for a mac computer. A shot of the rig yesterday in the comp. Really cool new spot! I liked being on the beach and I enjoyed a change of scenery. Granted it took me an hour to get there...I think think we should keep this place in our rotation! Uhhh, obviously I hit this gate, ha. |

Well my Team3six seats are too big. My Wraith seats are too big. Hmmm, okay! Draw a seat... Trace it on some sheet metal... Cut it out... Bend it up and boom! Seat! |

In my vise. It's not perfectly symmetrical but it's close enough and you won't notice once the driver is in it. I'll probably rob one of the 5 point harnesses from the team3six seats too.

I'm also shooting it with some rubber coating so it will look less like metal.

Nice job on the seat. The low cab gives the rig a very aggressive look. I like it.
