Black and Slim The shocks are from RC4WD. Dual Spring 110mm Scale Black Shocks I only used them for the scale appearance. They will probably work for some light trail riding and such, but they just don't have the performance this rig needs to be a performer. Josh seemed to have it dialed in with the prolines. I'm just going to tough it out and see where I end up. |

Thank You for the response. Yeah, I read alot about those ProLine, I thought the ones you have on there now look cool. I kinda like the black look. |

| I need help guys!!!
Ok guys, This has always been a 2.2 rig and obviously built on that platform. Last night my Uncle Jim (Beam) came over and I started looking at the rig and had an idea. Hex wrench in hand! I love the look of the OMFs for sure and it solves me not wanting to buy a set of Methods (even though they would be perfect for this build.) I also have some shorter shocks to lower the ride height in the front. Here are some pics. Let me know what you guys think! Greg |

1.9s will fly as long as you pull the front axle back or make new sides to fill the huge gap. I would still go with my other suggestion.

I like it! The wheelbase looks a bit long but not overly so. A filler panel would help but I think it looks ok as is. |

i vote keep it on 2.2s, but run a more proportional tire like the TSL or Krawler

Looks great Bulldog , I say keep 2.2's also ! Question for you too , what's the wheel base on your rig ? The chassis I'm working on at the moment with 2.2's looks good setting at a 15'' wheel base.

It actually looks very well proportioned with those 1.9's. You could add a triangular filler panel behind the front tires if you wanted but to me it doesn't scream that it needs to be done.

Wow, Josh, that was the picture I was looking for! I'm really thinking that this is going to work. I'm going to spend more time staring at it, but so far I think it's pretty close to scale. |

As for the wheelbase and other tire options Nick, 4runner The 2.2s can always go back on ...that's easy. The problem with using smaller tires is that they aren't that much smaller. The difference between a 5.75 claw and a 5.5 tire is hardly anything. Going from 5.75 to 4.75 is obviously a big difference. The wheelbase is stock wraith geometry which changes when the suspension droops. At the current ride height, the wheelbase is 14.25. |

Small Edit...Yes I own this rig now. The chassis was built by Jerry (DMG in the vendor section) and modified heavily by Harley. If you haven't seen the original thread, I posted a link at the beginning of this one. Grab a case of beer and go through the whole thing. There's a lot of info in there and it's pretty crazy to see how this thing evolved. Should have an update soon. I really only need to plunk some last minute details in and it will be a runner. |

Seriously? Finish this thing already! Finally pulled together all the loose ends. We're getting close! On to the pictures. What the hell is this? That goes in these. I'm no wiring genius, but this was about as clean as I could come up with to tie the two sets of lights together. And when you hook a battery up, it looks like this. Got the interior in and buckled down. Did a small mod to the battery tray. Just have to slap the electronics in, mount the exterior panels and get it out there. Hopefully soon. Thanks for looking.
