| Need help with my build, Bronco evolution.
Hey guys i started a new build, only this time i like it to be semi scale kind trail rig, i bought the kaetwo chassis, very nice btw , was originally going to use the extreme tlt mounting plates, but i found a set of gmade mounts i bought some months ago and had forgotten all about them , the wb will come at 12.5" i'am using a bronco body( i know everyone in the states has one , but in Honduras it will be unique ) so here are a couple pics of the build, need ideas on shocks to use i have a set red rocks and a set of moabs 2.2 which do you think look more scale, i have bl system for it also. Any comments are welcome Last edited by cartronicshn; 11-25-2006 at 08:42 AM. |

moabs would be best for scaleness and the stock tlt shocks would be good for that too. I strip the gold off with oven cleaner and then polish. For better travel, check out some stadium truck style shocks T4, MT2, rustler, ECT.

I think the moabs would be more scale on your rig, the red rocks i think are more tube rig like. I would go with the moabs. |

thAnks so far guys for your comments , still waiting to hear from that person who uses velcro for a body mount( don't really want to drill any holes on it) i have searched and no luck, still need some recomendations on what shocks to use. LMK if these tires look more scale then the RR and if they look better . WB is at exactly 12.5" |

3m makes a velcro"like" system call dual lock I believe.... its strong as heck and locks together instead of the normal hook and loop that velcro does...

so i finally got back to work on my rigs, put some time on my XRC and my K2-3S, i finally drilled the diffs shaft to accept the revo's shaft set pin, later today i'am going to install the Novak ss 5800 bl motor, since this is more of a trail rig, and also install the body mount, notice that i had to turn down the revo shaft on the spur gear end, looks ugly but i think it will work.

Finally got some work done on my K2-3s , had some problems with my stealth tranny, had to fab a mounting plate so that the motor would sit in front of the tranny so the 12 tooth would mesh with the 84 th spur gear, also fabed the body mounts with out making any holes , locked the tranny, and added a rear bumper, futre work include removing of the window mask , fabbing a front stinger or aluminum bumper, ,maybe adding some tools . LMK what you think.

Hey Dez, thanks , sorry about the crappy pics:-( , but i used radio mounting brackets, they are flexible and firm enough, just use good strnght velcro , if i roll the truck they will just bend and not crack or break the body , also i have hundreds here and they are free |
