| Ultra 4 bomber
I have been running my rock bouncer at our local ultra 4 races with very good results but its time for something new so I decided to build this. I haven't decided what axles to use yet but here is a mockup with ax10 axles on it. These are pictures from the last week of the build. |

I'm not finished with the chassis. I still need to put some tube around the rear shocks and put some tube on the front to protect the servo and braze some nuts on the chassis for panels.

It's a roller. Still have to make pannels, extend rear driveline, extend servo wire, paint chassis and interior. |

Chassis weight. 13.28oz-376.5g Chassis length 13.75" Chassis height top secret Chassis width top secret Just kidding to lazy to grab a tape. Does anybody know if soaking this brake line chassis in distiled vinager would clean it up? Kinda want a bare metal look but don't want the gold brazed joints. Almost got it done for the race this weekend. I sprayed it with rc window tint to make the brake line darker but still visable. Now it's time for the interior and panels. |

I made some knuckle weights and I'm starting on the panels. The weights weigh about 4.5 oz each. |

All ready for the race this weekend. I drove it for a bit in the front yard and it felt great except for the toe out so I fixed that by shaving some threads off of the chaotic steering link. The pannels are made out of a 6"x18" aluminum sheet. I decorated it with some sponser stickers I had and threw some seats in there too. Last edited by tuner; 08-15-2013 at 11:13 PM. |

Well the rig worked well this weekend. I kinda played it safe because I didn't know what would break but I still pulled a 4 th place next to some awesome drivers. I need to change some things like get some different rims to narrow it up a little and tuck the knuckle weights up out of the way a little more. I also need to put some heaver weight oil in the front shocks like 40 or 50 and beef up the front bumper because it bent a little. Last edited by tuner; 08-18-2013 at 08:10 PM. |

Oh yeah my fuel cell lid came off during the race and a sway bar arm broke so I have to fix those.
