| First Tube build
First tube chassis built, and first crawler in general, scratch built, no planes on paper for any of it! Took me about 3 days of afternoon fabrication to get it as a roller! It's mig welded, not braised, so the joints aren't as smooth but I think it looks great! Material is 1/4" steel brake line(it's galvanized so not the safest to weld I was sure to have some good ventilation. Enough of me talking, enjoy, any advice will be taken in consideration! thanks! |

Switch to Wraith shocks, better, lower stance. Also did transmission mounting and some other driveline fab. |

Everything is custom and I didn't replicate any skid. There are some tweeks here and there but it will be functional, just not the most practical crawler. the flex is not all that much but I do think it looks pretty good for a first!

I think pumpkin to pumpkin like 1.5-11 inches? My links are 5in plus rod ends which pits then at about 5.5 inches. So about 11in wheel base. Hould have motor and esc and body panels soon!

Finally and update. So Far I have everything ready to go. It powered by a 55T Integy brushed motor and a Tekin FXR waiting for some lipos and my new tx and rx in the mail! here are some picture of the body panels I made FINALLY Also waiting for some wideners... The wait for parts is getting annoying, I'm ready to finish this build!

This rig will be for sale ones I get some more components over the weekend. What should I ask for it you guys? I'm sure not many really have checked out this thread and I havnt been all that descriptive. Here is a rundown so far. SCX10 axles, 17mm wodeners. New front bearings, knuckles, dog bones and outer shafts. Tekin FXR esc, and an Integy 55T. Brand new freshly built SCX10 locked trans never put under power. Some basic driveshafts not too fancy. Wraith shocks brand new and A LOT OF TIME AND SWEAT. My main question is what would be a fair asking price once I list it? Thanks guys |

Last update, I finally recieved my spacer and can FINALLY mount wheels, I also drew some racing numbers, and a neat touch! NO comments on it yet but oh well, I tried to have a somewhat interesting first build.
