| The Beast! (video from U4RC main 3/22/2014
Well it's time to start another build, but this time I'm not going all out crazy with detail, but it's going to go fast and suck up rocks. This is going to be raced in the U4RC at Glen Helen race park and the rocks are not your friends. The main piece's of the cage will be 3/16'' solid with random 1/8'' pieces and 3/16'' brake line for less weight. I'm going to be using a axial trans (all steel inside) a RX8, Pro 4 motor, (don't know which one yet) and some other wraith parts. But for now here's a few pics, not much but prototyping the cage right now. 4 Last edited by The Doc; 03-24-2014 at 10:27 PM. Reason: Have a new video |

Man, I have been watching those ultra4rc races for the last week! Those races look super fun. I want to start something like that up here in Vermont... Definitely need a purpose built rig for that course (light, strong, quick - not necessarily super fast). You doing IFS or solid? |

Lookin good so far, I'm used to seeing crappy welding skills so its a breath of fresh air to see your nice joints haha, It looks like an exo chassis to me for some reason though. |

You could run a smaller spare, more room for the swaybar. it's not like you will need to change a tire...Yet. |
