2.2 Shafty... Where to start!?!?!
 

I want to build another rig... i dont exactly comp. but wouldnt mind setting up a rig within specs for if and when i start to comp.

I just dont know where to start....

What kind of axles to use?
ive seen people using the AR60 axles with an XR10 (?) mod..?

Im clueless.... please if i missed a thread in a search or something that goes over this...


Now. the AX10 RTR Ridgecrest - Would this be considered a 2.2 shafty out of the box?

Would the AX10 be a good place to start?

Any advice would be helpful :):shock:

no dont buy the ridgecrest.

look for an OG ax-10, or buy parts and build from parts. this is the scale section. you need to go to SPORTY COMP section. they will show you what to do.

oh and if you buy a star for a mere 20 bucks, you support the site which is GREAT!! get lots of info, look cool, and can browse the classifieds and find a used sporty (shafty) 2.2 for a nice deal already build nice!!!
