just a small update on the beast guys... I have had trouble with my sway bars since day one.. I kept tightening them and they pop lose in about 5 minutes.. they finally gave up on stripped... so I ordered a new tap and some bolts and this is what I cam up with

this was the original fix... run a better 3mm bolt so I could put some pressure on it..

this happened as a result

then I filled a flat spot for the button head screw to sit more flush

drilled and tapped to 6/32

and put new rod ends on the stock rod

then my camera died so I don't have a pic installed yet... hopefully it with do the trick this time tho

thanks for looking

I really wish I could get my arms done. They would solve all the problems. I've been looking for someone else but I can't find anyone close that doesn't want a lot of money to do them. Switch to 3/32 all thread and revo ends for the sway bar.

the rods have been fixed.. I went for a beat after I get them both fixed... didn't solve the problem... the back sway bar just get abused... 5 minutes... they just come lose and fall off.. and you can tell immediately lol...

then the spur got chewed up...

Subscribed, a little late though. Rig is looking awesome! Any chance of some more pics of this rig next to your Hilux? I've got a few builds going now, one of them being a Hilux, and was curious how close in size they were. A U4RC rig will be in the works soon as well. Hoping they may be close enough in scale that they won't look funny together in pics. Thanks a ton.

Thanks! I can get some pics posted up later..the hilux is smaller than the beast but the tires are what throw the scale off...I'll get pics later when I get home and you can be the judge

This rig is simply awesome. Sucks that you've had so many issues with it. Dig the family shot a few pages back. The black truck on the left looks familiar, I didn't happen to build that did I?
