Default Dorkstar Jeep 2.2

Well, it's time for a new Montana 2.2!

I'm working on the body now:

More later!

Thanks! I figured there are going to be a TON of JK's in Montana this year- I'd better make mine different. Kind of a JK Brute extended cab.

More progress! I'm priming and sanding to try to get it smooth, and I picked the wheels I'm going to use. I havent decided on the tires yet... I did find my driver though.

"You don't need to see my license"

The body is just sitting on the axles. I"m waiting for the SCX10's to come back in to Tammies, and I'm waiting on my tranny.

More soon!

I cut the body fairly straight, then used overlapping pieces of styrene to secure the panels together. I used Walther's Goo (essentially shoo goo) to bond the pieces, with a good amount of black CA too. Then Squadron modeling putty to fill the gaps. This is my first real 'body work,' so it's not going to be perfect, but once the paint and decals and tube work is all on it shouldn't matter!

Thanks peeps!

I've got some fairly radical plans for it...

Think Summit Tranny....
