Finally got this rig to how I want it to look, just waiting for a HeyOK KOH lightset and some Axial light buckets for the rear.
I've really enjoyed this build and I cant stop taking bloody pics of it !
Next up is action shots ...I cant bring myself to get it dirty tho !

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm already looking over KOH rigs and trying to decide, maybe Tom Wayes or Wayland Campbell's . Loren Healy has a new rig too, he had a great battle with Shannon at the Rock Sport challenge.

I got it dirty today, 2 packs, one loose grub screw on the sway bar , awesome rig , sorry Bomber........ My new favourite rig !!!!

Yep, I laser welded a couple of bits of scrap stainless onto a bit of stainless tube, then drilled and tapped a 3mm hole. I was using team associated steel stops with the grub screws already in them from nitro linkages but welding stainless to stainless with stainless filler is much stronger. I am running a 3/16 tube inside the 1/4 frame tube and inside that is a length of plastic rc aerial tube to reduce friction.
I am using a bit of 2mm stainless for the torsion bar.

I am super impressed with all of your rigs, so scale you wouldnt know they werent real 1:1 rigs if you posted some of these pics somewhere else online other than on an RC board.

Thanks for the compliments guys, it always puts a huge smile on my face every time I drive this rig , its like watching Shannon Campbell on YouTube walking along behind it !
Wes , I was on the other side of the canyon where that vid was shot from and it was the best bit of driving I saw at the Hammers , everyone went mental , very cool ! I did think of doing his rig but I thought I'd give a 1.9 a go so I am building the fastest live axle Ultra4 out there , Erik Millers 4421 rig. I haven't started a thread yet but I'll try to get it on this weekend.

Millers rig is killer too. Dont know that I would say its the fastest live axle rig, Im a bit partial to the bomber rigs, but I would say the bombers from Randy are faster!

Cant wait to see that build
