Plenty of trail rash showing now and no breakages , love this little truck.
I do have a fresh set of skins to dress it up for Axialfest tho .

Looks like I gotta get some new decals and rubber for this rig, Nitto is gonna be all over the KOH podium this year .
Anyone suggest a good performing tire that looks like the Nitto with the Trep height ?
I may as well keep up with the Campbells and transform this rig as Shannon does his . All suggestions welcome

If you ignore the siping pattern, the new falken wild peaks are much closer in tread pattern design than any other 2.2 I can think of. I just got mine in the yeti kit and they seem really nice.

That's about the closest I could find too. That R35 works pretty well , they might have to do until someone makes a replica.

What no more treps on his rigs ? The treps look so aggressive compared to the nitto. Love this campbell rig.

Yep, the trep has a lot bigger lug than the nitto and looks a lot better but it's what all the cool kids are using ! (Erik Miller, Ben Napier, Jason Scherer, Loren Healy, Derek West and the Campbells ) there just has to be a couple of them on the podium. I really hope someone would release a replica but with the huge amount of tires on the market already it would be hard to justify copying what is popular right now and hoping they sell. An Axial R35 would be great but I don't know what rig they'd spec them on as they already have the Falken as an ultra4 replica. I might just try out a set of U4 blues for the rocks!

They got the krawlers, treps, and wild peaks. All u4 tires. Just seems nitto would be next in line.

Cheers, there are just a couple of other bits I want to make like the fire extinguisher on the rear. The best thing about this rig is that it performs great too , nothing better to build something that looks the way you want and have it perform better than you hoped . Def my fave rig.

I was never 100% happy with the trailing arms I made for this rig so I started making some new ones with a bit more scale appearance . They are all laser welded stainless and I use a small dab of filler to look like small bolts ( the filler wire I use is .3mm and the shot set at 1mm & 320v ) , I like the way they are turning out. Those are standard Revo rodends for comparison.

I finally got these new trailling arms finished and installed , its nice to have at least one shiny part on this rig. Showing some serious trail rash now but many trouble free miles have been travelled with it.

Another addition was a 220 oz freespool KMS winch that I stole off my Bomber rig ,along with a dummy winch mounted on the front. This will be going to Axialfest so a winch is mandatory as is lights. I will be putting a few COB led's on this , very cheap and very cool. I'll post pics when they arrive.

Haha ! Thanks for the offer but I don't seem to find enough time to keep all my rigs running right.
Try the Doc or Mattzilla , they both do really nice proven U4RC race rigs .
