Default Szczerba's 2.2 XTV

Based off Tanner's 4x4 XTV single seater.

Shouted out mcrawlinslow at KRB Kustumz to get me a starter chassis going. Need a Class 3 scalish rig for the East Coast Scale Challenge coming up very soon.

1:1

Less than a week later I had this sitting in my shop. Great chassis to start working with.

Hell yeah!

Looks awesome. My class3 buggy is very similar. Based off the old Rockware single seater xrra / we rock buggy!

Mine performs awesome.

In my honest opinion, that is what class 3 is all about! Comp buggies!

Looking forward to seeing this come together.

Refreshing actually.

Thanks. I have another comp style starter chassis being built by another vendor
too. It's a little more non-traditional.

I'm intrigued to see where you take this chassis. Any hints on the power plant?

Axles
7950th up front and a 7954sh out back. Going with axle mounted servos to save me some time.
Also, going with the stock skid upper link geo since the Dinky RC mounts raise the uppers at the axle.
Added some support bars here and there
And reworked the front shock position. Cut the hoops and lowered them about a 1/4" and mounted the shocks on the back side of the mount.

Rear

Front

Some clearancing

So cool seeing it as a roller. Proportions look spot on. Glad you are doing 4WS. So fun in a comp buggy.

I am assuming you will have a 2-D shell with a battery next to motor?

Thanks. The more replies, the more pics I post.

Still working on layout. Battery will be one top of motor or behind cab. I could fit it up under the hood but I dont have time to do
Surgery up there
Making sure a 2200 fits but may run a smaller pack. Puts alot of weight on that side of chassis.

Looks like you got it figured out.

a 3D printed motor for the rear would complete the overall aesthetic of the 1:1.

Shoutout to Helhedded, as he is one of my "scale advisors" and did mention to lower the front shock hoops.
