What shocks are you running? It could be the pics but they look beefy!

When I bought them they were available un-assembled though that doesn't seem an option now, could also buy the spring sets in pairs & they seem to have lost that option too. Bit pricey, but beautifully made & butter smooth. So far after 12 months (really are due for a birthday re-build) just the barest smear of oil on the shafts after each race & a tiny smear on the top that it think works past the bleed screw, but that takes months to appear after I wipe it away. I'm happy with my choice. (though my 1.9 rig current has Traxxas alloy big bores with Wraith springs & I like them too) Pro-Line Pre-Assembled Pro-Spec Shocks 6308 for Short Course

Just realised I haven't updated this recently, back at Christmas time I fitted up some SSD front & rear housings. Had to make myself up a custom one off front truss to be able to use the Dlux links I already had, plus I really like that servo tucked down away from the chassis. |

Very well built rig and I can get over how nice that truss is. Great work. |

looks awesome with the ssd axles!! I'm running the same chassis and love it. how is the vanquish sway bar working for you? I'm running the deluxe universal sway and need to come up with a thicker bar or some kinda bushing that takes out the slop |

Thanks, They're UCFab arms to suit that particular chassis, they're 148mm eye-eye, though I think you could get away with Yeti arms at 142mm. The VP bar has been good, I can't remember if the VP bar fit in the chassis tube but is way too long anyway, don't know if I cut it down or if that's a piece of wire I got from Kyle when I got my 1.9. Had issues initially getting the arms to stay tight but found I'd not got the flats on the shaft, well, flat. Nor parallel, so the grub screws never had a nice face to bite onto, fixed that with a small file & it's been fine since. It's a race truck so the stiffness of the bar is about right for this, not needing massive articulation. Plus I've still got adjustment to increase or decrease the leverage of the arm. Originally I had the Dlux carbon one for the AR60 housing & had links to suit. When I changed to SSD housing to re-use the links I had to make my own truss based off the Dlux one. Dlux does have one now but it's currently in the black G10, hopefully in the ali soon https://dluxfab.ecwid.com/#!/AR60-Wr...egory=12405705

Mine is slightly different in the mounting posts but this is the way Dlux does them now which is better. AR60/Wraith Servo/Truss/Link mount |
