| **2007 Bruiser**
This is what is upcoming for 2007 in the RD400 stable. After getting an F-350, I decided that I could make what Tamiya should have. I am taking some of what I consider to be the best parts of the three most popular scale rigs (Bruiser/TLT/F-350) and am mashing them together. Body: Tamiya Bruiser, modded to remove the hippy camper thing Chassis: .250"x.750" Aluminum ladder/rail with delrin cross members (smaller version of the chassis used on my F-650) Axles: TLT Front Suspention: 4 link with seperate shock/spring setup Rear Suspention: Leaf spring Trans: Hi-Lift three speed modded to front motor, deleted the slipper, 56 tooth spur, and a 9 tooth pinion. Wheels and tires: Not sure yet, waiting to see if a forth Jakks wheel makes it here, if not... Well, here are some pics... So, what do ya think? |

I like it, but the Jakks wheels look undersized, like you're crawling on 12's. Maybe a set of Xtreme narrowed Claws would do the trick, like on Chino's Mounty |

Definatly needs bigger wheels and tires. Other than that, I think it looks good so far.

Na, 2.2's look to big to me. I think a slight drop will work out better.

The body is OLD! I just stripped it of the old paint and cut the hippy camper off.

I'd still go one size bigger on the tires. Not as big as Geos, but the narrowed Claws on 1.9's are da shizzle, dawg. I'll take some pics if I can find my camera.

NICE. Might I recommend you whip up some narrowed Dirt Hawgs? Actually, maybe stretch the wheelbase 1/4". It looks like the rear axle is a little forward of dead center in the wheel well, but it could just be me... |
