Default First Attempt at altering a chassis/First Jeep!

So i picked this up for nearly nothing with a supershafty bombproof tranny and wraith axles and a bunch of vp parts, he just wasnt into crawling, so i want to chop the top drop it about a 1/2 inch then change the design of the roof + fix the busted off V bars in the window.

I would just chop and slope the roof down then change those hideous shock mounts.

Mount the shock in the position(holes) you want then chop the rest of the holes off.

You can also add bends to some bars by just using a pin punch and a hammer to get a small bend.

sweet i think ill try my hand at bending up some bars for the back then and see if i cant make two that look alike to attach back there, or maby ill just leave it attach the where they are shorten the interior a bit and mount lights on the two nuts welded to the chassis behind them? idk enough done for tonight though, ill get it all chopped and ready to go then sand blast it and start prepping for re brazing of the roof then once i get the main section back on ill work on the rear,
