Ok the weight factor makes a lot of sense. For that reason I guess a softer spring and lighter oil will give me similar results then. Gotta just hurry up and finish building so i can start playing first hand. Thanks for the quick response |

I just now released I haven't updated on here in a long time; I've been posting mainly on RCSC. A lot has gone on since the last updates, I've built a completely new v2 chassis fixing some proportion issues on the previous version. I did a few changes that made it handle better as well. Now here's the replica body I did for this truck. Galindo motorsports #1 truck. It's a combination of two bodies if anyone's wondering. Decals were done by MCI Racing. Running Gear Head pods, a six shooter, and a desert torch for leds. They all run off of the RX. Release video for the body: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYE67FKrOLA First run video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SdSBMIS-q4 I know that’s a lot to take in if you haven’t been following. There’s more but that should be good for now! |

Appreciate the info! I think i go for the stock Yeti lenght from SSD instead for the shorter TwinH arms. Think the longer the trailing arms are, the smoother the suspension. When i look at the 1:1 TT's the trailings arms fixed under the drivers a**. So i will adjust the ground plate shape that the wheelbase fits the chassis. grz mike Last edited by RCO; 01-18-2016 at 10:24 PM. |

Thanks man yeah I did see that, someone showed me yesterday. Really sucks because I was hoping to meet up with them and see the truck in person. How about this, we both sell our houses, buy it and then team up to race. Sound good? |

Were you planning to try to fit the new Proline BFgourich Baja T/A on your truck? They look a lot like the real deal. (Great build ) Pro-Line 10119-14 BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR2 2.2" Tires |

Thanks. I wish but I know they're going to be too big. I'll just hold out for the SC versions

Hi Justin Everytime i look at your Project Zeus Truck, i`am stoked...! How did you connect the pinion outputshaft from the rear Diff (think it`s a axial one, right?) with the Traxxas Revo driveshaft? Thx & Grz Mike |

Thanks Mike. I think you got it confused, I'm not running the revo driveshaft, it's far too big. I use slash 4x4 driveshafts.

thanks for the update! hmmm... i go with the Revo driveshafts. I will see... maybe i weld some "points" on the pinion to make it a little wider and sand it in shape for a tight fit. |

So here's a little recap of the last trip. Just for the hell of it I searched "dunes" on google maps and this place in Albany GA popped up. Talk about TT heaven, looks like something you would find in CA! After a few weeks of getting rained out we finally made it out there. They say it’s a naturally occurring "wind-blown" sand dune. The dunes used to be pretty massive, but turns out a ton of the sand was taken out the last few years. That didn't matter though, the spot was still perfect for letting the trucks loose. It was overcast and drizzling so we sorta rushed to get as many shots as we could. We did most of the filming in a set of whoops that were easily 1 ft deep in some parts. Sucks we didn't have a quad or bike to explore different spots but we got some good stuff. Had a great time out there. Here’s the final edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEHW9_n9nLo Here you can really see how much sand was taken out. The whoops The paddles sure hooked up :thumb: The big jump I did. Sorta disappointed we weren’t able hit some other stuff Repeated occurrence of the day Hope none got in the intake Truck held up great after a few hard few hours of thrashing This is what ended my fun...
