finally got around to making some progress! got most of the nuts brazed on, just the ones for the interior remain. I have most of the panels on, jut need to make the roof and the rear wall for the cockpit.

hopefully within the next few days i will have the rear swaybar made and more of the interior done.

here are some assembled pics f the truck. trying to figure out what i want to do for the livery. I am leaning towards an Ivan Stewart homage, but that is still up in the air.

I think this thing needs to have some sort of front skid plate to fill in that gap a little more.

Just placed an order with crawler innovations last night for some 6-bolt wheels and double Duce foams. Hopefully they will be here Friday.

I need to get the rear away bar sorted out. I may end up making it a dummy bar and just bolt the sway bar arms to the chassis so they freely rotate without an actual torsion bar.

Damn.. I was gunna ask what you were planning on using for the torsion bar. I like the arms you made and was thinking of making my own also but wasn't sure what material was used for a "soft" torsion bar. Rig looks amazing !!

Thanks for the kind words!

The plan was to use music wire for the torsion bar, but I am have issues with it being too stiff. I am still experimenting with different sizes of wire. I want it to be functional, so I will keep trying and update accordingly.

where might one be able to find music wire? I am running Trailing arms on my wraith, Id like to try and kill out a lil bit of the body roll but I don't wanna kill the flex to much because I crawl with it a good bit

With a sway bar you at essentially adding spring rate to what ever side is being compressed(it will also want to pull the opposi g side up) so you might be better off playing with the spring rates and damping a little bit. It's usually better to try and get the shocks sorted out before adding a sway bar.

I still need to get my shocks sorted out. I've already redone the twice, lol. The way the rear geometry is, the truck has the propensity to be pretty soft when one side is compressed(or the chassis is rotating about the longitudinal axis) yet pretty firm when the axle is compressed equally.

updates finally! I have got the main livery sorted out, but i cant think of a main sponsor for the livery. I also need to track down a slew of sponsor stickers to slap all over the rear quarter panels.

still have to do some more brazing and finish the interior/mount the electronics.

I got some sponsor stickers worked out and put them on the body panels. i chose Fox just for the reasoning that some of their vintage stuff has a similar color schema to Ivan Stewart.

The swaybar is on, but still not quite 100% I would like to make some better bushings. Also, I got the front skid plate brazed on as well as mounted some faux lights.
