This is going to be the body for my pulling rig. Kinda pricey but oh well saves me the time. Thanks CJC. It is not going on this chassis. I think I am going to put it on a K2-3L.

That's a nice body you got there. Must of cost a pretty penny. The K2-3S is coming out real nice. You picked some nice parts to use but I don't think the zip ties are goin to keep the tranny in place.

I agree. I assume you are going to mount the tranny with screws. I really like those links. Could You post a link to where you bought those? In my current trail rig i am using a k2 3s. It is a great chassis.

yeah the zip ties were just to mock up.
Bem- The links I am using are from extreme r/c a vendor on here. I told him the length I needed and he made them. The top links are 4.5 inches and the lower links are 5 inches. They are pretty even if you use the MSD servo link mounts I believe.(Haven't recieved in the mail yet but should be perfect. 1/10 scale bodies sit in the wheel well perfect.

Here is a little update. I have all the electronics in the truck. The 2 cell 1350mAH Lipo pack is sitting next to the R2 Tranny held in by two pieces of delrin on the one to the rear of the truck I screwed my reciever in the the opposite end of the delrin from the chassis. I will try and get some better pics of the floating reciever. Well here are some pics let them do the talking.

My COG is pretty low. I think I am going to get some different shocks but these will work for now. Let me know some input. Still working on a body.

Clocking axles C's? I still have some tweaking to do. I need to get the steering dialed in. Going to order delrin steering links and aluminum servo horn. I forgot to get some articulation pics will get some up tomorrow.

Well I have some articulation pic. The truck is working out ok with the big bore shocks I have I might keep them. I might put on the K2 shock towers and test them out. well enough with the talk and on to the pics.

Let me have any ideas if you have some.

If you dont have the pede shafts connected, thats why its working okay, my maxx shafts bind with 3.8" shortened maxx shocks! Anything more than 90mm it binds with a 12.25"Wb

I am using pede shafts and pede big bore shocks. My top shock mounts I cut to an angle of lower mounts about 45 degrees. They don't bind at all. I drove in and out of each shot. Not bad consider I am on a tile floor. I am running 4.5 top and 5 lower links on my truck. I am about 12 3/4 wb. I wouldn't trade this truck for the world.

My rear shaft are two females with a male CA glued into one of them. It was a hair too short and would pop off when I was testing her. The only problem I am having is with the steering I don't get a lot of turning radius. Any ideas?

clocking axle c's, replace the plastice hub mounts with aluminum ones that allow you to rotate the axle without sacraficing your steering quality

TLTs, C-Hubs, and Axle Clocking...........

Nice looking Truck.

Been wanting to see a K2-3S built up.

Would you happen to have a pic of it with the body on from the side?
I would like to see what the body looks like on a K2-3S chassis?

Thanks
