Default Megatiller 2.2 TTC Chevy

This rig started as a 1.9 (you may have seen it in that section) but with the TTC in Colorado coming up I chopped and reworked the chassis a while back.

To start here is the chassis.

Never even occurred to me that it was a 1.9.
This should be good!

How did I miss this? I don't usually hang out in the 1.9 section enough. Guess I'm not the only 50's chevy tuber up here. Totally different style though so it's all good. Looks like nice work, hope to see you out on the trails.

Yea I saw your build. Your right there different styles, mine is not the best crawler because of the higher COG. Hope to see you at some ORCRC comps when your rig is done

The front axle on this is XR10 width and the rear was SCX10 width. I wanted the rear to match the front so I built this rear axle.

Trenton,
Details on that rear axle housing?!!

I think I know what you did, but you know what they say about assumptions...

You building again?

The axle has a scx10 plastic center with steel tubes (basically extra long beef tubes). The truss is welded to the tubes for strength and I made sure I could still remove the center housing. Shafts are long wraith's that have been narrowed.

No I'm not a vendor anymore due to my regular job picking up, but of course still building my own rigs.

Looks killer man, hopefully I'll get to check this out in person sometime. That axle is real cool.

Congratulations, this looks like it performed really well. Wheel speed was a bit surprising too, mind if I ask what you're running for a motor/esc?

Thanks! I couldn't of been happier with how it performed, handled the rough terrain at speed and the cut U4 tires hooked up. It has a Pro4 3300 motor, 6s for the mud bog and 4s for everything else.

Love this rig. Too bad your not building chassis anymore, would love to own one of your rigs.
