| Hittman's 2.2 UC-Fab Radius
Since Kyle starting making his chassis, I have wanted one. His cages are just a work of art. The bends are beautiful, the welds are immaculate, and just bad ass overall. One very cool feature is the beautifully machined skid he uses. In cooperation with Dlux, they have produced a skid that is lightweight and very effective. What I like about it is it is much smaller than a wraith skid, so that means a lot less to hang up on. Going through the building process with Kyle was awesome. He listens to everything you want in a chassis. He will build you the cage YOU want. If he doesnt think something is a good idea, he will offer ways to make it work, or even better suggestions. Kyle is a stand up dude, working with him was half the fun of recieving the cage Onto the parts list: Chassis and suspension: UC-Fab radius chassis (designed for 1.9, transformed into a 2.2) Big bore shocks (4" in the rear, 4.25" up front) Mix and match of links. I love these axles.. I had the front built, then vp released the rear.. Perfect timing for this rig. UC-Fab Ti skids are awesome Curries are just so sweet. Knuckles have since been charged out for Dlux V2 knuckles. Last edited by Hittman; 05-17-2015 at 12:32 PM. |

I won't be selling is anytime soon. After all my looking I have finally found a rig I am happy with. We have our season ending trail class comp this upcoming weekend, AZ Shootout the weekend after, then our state championship two weeks after that.. Gonna put this rig through the ringer.

Can't wait for AZ trail class.. Says we are running 8 minute courses.. Currently we run 5 minute courses here. Either I will finish them quick, or I have no clue what's ahead of me. Either way, I am looking forward to it. Very confident in this rig

Does your servo touch the upper support bar? it looks like it does when it flexes?

| Re: Hittman's 2.2 UC-Fab Radius Thank you. Means a lot It does, but it is at the exact same time the shocks fully compress. So it doesn't hinder performance at all. |

We had our NM State Championship back on the 27th of June. Very fun event. This rig did great. My axle buster had burned up at the G6 in AZ, so a roc 412 and MMP was put in. Definitely woke the rig up! Unfortunately, due to breaking the axle housing on course 2 led to a dnf, still drove the rig for the next two courses and actually did quite well. Even without finishing a course I was able to pull off a 4th place finish. Not as good as I wanted but it is what it is. Before states I had changed to a xr width scx axle, and an xr width rear wraith axle. Plastic axles lightened the rig up alot, and of course slid better than the curries. |
