How do you do your tube rolling?

Looking really good.

Extra super custom tooling.

Dumbell bar with two 5lbs plates. Vise. Open ended wrench. 5lbs diameter match the CXT wells good.

Welp, I dont have enough 1/4" or 3/8" 0.035" tube left to finish the rear box.
Ordered more metal but it will be 4-5 business days at least to get it here.

Made the start of the body mount with flat bar and some 3/16" tube. Small panel will fill in this area.
I made it like this because I did not want the lower sliders to come all the way up to the cab, just didn't look right with that much space looking from the side at the subframe. Also, the mount will serve as a front inner fender mount as well.
...

You're off the hook on this build.

I like the look of the old school modified TSS Rockrawler beadlocks. Unless you get bored in your upcoming 1 month stay-cation.

I'm sure at some point I'll be bored out of my mind, or going mad from the lack of red meat. You know where to find me.

talk to me about the inner link geometry. front lower than rear.

longer WB looks good, at it still looks like a shorty.

I like your lowered sliders idea. some 1.5" diameter tube fuel tank sliders would have been over the top.

on second thought, maybe fuel tank sliders are not such a great idea....

Squat/Anti-Squat, ie, suspension leverage.

Chassis uppers may get moved to outside of subframe, just have to make a dual shear mount. Simple.
Also, I didnt go with a ton of lower link triangulation at the skid, knowing this rig could be a little top heavy. Sway-bar parts on order too. Trying to keep the rear metal work to a minimum.

With the sliders at the bottom of the cab, there was just too much "space" when viewed from the side. There is still a ton of clearance from ground to slider.

I have tamiya semi fuel tanks but it didnt look right.
Using this rig as loose inspiration. The one you posted but most of these class support trucks dont have external showing fuel tanks.

I noticed that before when I was watching some crash videos.

I ordered some black polystyrene sheet. 0.020-0.060, 12"x48. Going to try and form it over the bed area. We'll see, if not, Ill do side and top panels.

Ripped some 1" square tube. Then cut and welded. Was going to go with 3/8 tube but said, nah.

Thanks. The 1" square tube works well for these bigger trucks.
Sweep every night but it doesn't look like it. Lol

Tacked to hinge. Need to cut one tack and realign bumper. A little crooked.
Will weld up fully and make a short bumper skid.

Where did you get the plates you used for your shock mounts? Cut and drill them yourself?

Wes

Yup, 1" wide flat bar, cut, rounded ends and hastily drilled on the drill press.

The rears need to be moved back about an inch but I am too lazy to do that right now.

Looks like the blue diffy cover has had a few encounters with things that didn't get out of the way fast enough!
