Default 1st attempt at a scale rig.

Got the Dtrail12 frame, high lift axles, and the pede tranny in a trade with the aluminum rims and swampers (thanks James)! I think I need black foot shafts to be able to mount the wheels properly.
Here is the truck...

Then I decided that my Courier body that I had NIB for the past year finally had a home! So last night I trimmed and painted it, after 7 or so beers and a bunch of paint huffing I got the body most of the way done. I'm not the best at paint jobs but this is definatly my best yet! Tamiya's gun metlal and black were the colors of choice...

Here the body is half arse mounted, I need some longer body posts for the back.

Next I would like a roof rack and some other scale items and I really need to find a good way to set up the steering with the high lift axles! Any suggestions?

That looks out freaking standing! I want to build a scaler sometime, but I have to come up with a scale chassis design first..

Sorry James..... This looks better than it did originally! Coming out real nice. I think I'd skip the roof rack though, That's just me. What rims are those?

very pretty! I'm sure it'll be a blast to drive too. Good to see hilift axles under different rigs...

Nice Avatar BTW! ;)

My biggest obsticle is going to be the steering I think. It shouldn't be too bad though.

Consider trimming the lip off the diff covers. It looks way better in my opinion. Other than that it looks way cool.
