Default 66b

Time for a New Build.
Parts:-
Xr Width Curries with scale knuckles and Chubs.
Homemade Steering link.
VP 3 Link and Panhard Mount.

VP Round things and Those Funky Blue Compound Rubber Tyre thingys whos name eludes me whilst typing.

Axial Chassis keep it simple. Pinched at the front.

Rear No Top Mount gets in the way.

Rear Mounted Trans ebay transfer Case.
Chassis Cut Short and Pinched alot at the back.

Still need to source a Motor/ Shocks and Props but its a roller and will be the foundation for the Bodywork.

Had a bit of time this weekend at work so started the metalwork.
Internal Roll Hoop with 2 door bars.
Not having an actual door so this will enable the insides to be seen.
Its chunky Steel Tigged together.

Now at the back I was going to do the rear mudguards in styrene but failed miserable so this is a comprimise that I think has turned out quite well.
There totally impractical but are only secured with 4xm3 bolts so could be removed quickly enough.

Well just cant keep up with all these comments!!!

anyway
The rear fenders needed revisiting as the tube ones just werent cutting the mustard and looked wrong.

So
Bit of this.....

Bit more of that....

A truck load of sandpaper and some Red Primer and its pretty good had to change the top slightly to clear the bigger tyres but i'm alot happier with this

So one down 1 to go!!!

Dang man. Looks like its straight out of the Rocketeer. It would be painful to see the first time those fenders take a rollover. Either way. Looking good!

fenders are going to be removeable so no need to smash them up.

That's straight up styrene badassedness right there! Really like your styrene fenders over the 1:1's, the look sleeker.

More pics please!
